Windnet-deflection system for ski jumping hills
Ponting Engineers were involved in the design of innovative permanent fully automated Windnet-deflection system for ski jumping hills, developed and patented by Alpina Sicherheitssysteme GmbH from Steindorf/Austria. The first such system was successfully installed for the FIS Nordic WSC 2021 in Oberstdorf/Germany in December 2019.
