Viaduct Peračica - South

The viaducts bridge a deep valley of Peračica Creek, with maximum structural spans of 110 meters and piers up to 56 meters high. Both viaducts, pre-stressed concrete structures with total length of 370 meters each, were built with use of balanced cantilever construction method.

The southern viaduct, built almost 4 years after the northern viaduct, replaced at the same location the existing but worn out viaduct from 1965.

In addition to the Peračica viaduct, we also designed the Lešnica (190 meters long) and Ljubno (320 meters long) viaducts on the demanding and relatively short, only 2.4 kilometers long highway section, which also includes a 260 meter long Ljubno tunnel.
