A steel structure of the overpass at the Titova cesta roundabout weights 22 tons, is 40.5 meters long and 3.74 meters wide.
With the new overpass, the Municipality of Maribor wants to enable cyclists and pedestrians an easier and safer cross of Titova cesta. At the same time, the north-south route will be improved and shortened, which is especially important for the connection of the city centre to the University Medical Centre Maribor (UKC Maribor).
When designing the new structure, we followed the
adjacent overpass, which was also designed by Ponting Consulting Engineers, and was completed in 2014.
