Footbridge by the old Railway
The pedestrian bridge along the old railway bridge in Maribor is 172 m long with three spans of cca 57 m. The bright opening of the bridge is 3.50 m the whole width of the bridge amounts 4.30 m
The bridge is designed as stress-ribbon bridge with only 35 cm thick concrete slab. The bridge leans on the existing railway bridge foundations and massive concrete, pile supported blocks on both sides, which take the horizontal forces of the bridge system.
