Bridge over Vipava in Renče
The bridge has a shallow concrete arch with a string of vertical steel hinges on which, a flat and thin carriageway slab with a static span of 67 m, is suspended.
Arch with height of 7.40 m has a changeable1.20 – 1.60 m deep cross section, the width of the arch is constant – 1.50 m. The carriageway is 12.30 m wide and 1.00 m deep, the steel hinges are made of steel tubes 273 mm in diameter. The bridge is deep founded on piles 120 cm in diameter, reaching 4.00 m into the bearing ground.
