Bridge L211 at Gleinalmtunnel
Together with Oberressl&Kantz from Klagenfurt (Austria), Ponting passed through a well participated design tender carried out by the ASFINAG (Austrian Motorway Operator) in 2014 and earned its first bridge design contract in neighboring Austria. Therefore, Ponting was in charge of the design for the reconstruction of two existing double highway bridges at both entrances of the Gleinalmtunnel on the A9 Pyhrn motorway between Graz and St. Michael.
