The construction of pylons and pavement structure assembly on Pelješac Bridge has begun

Construction works on the Pelješac Bridge are in full swing. The construction of pylons and the assembly of steel pavement structure began on the largest construction project in Croatia right now.
 
A 2404-meter long bridge will connect the Croatian mainland with the Pelješac Peninsula on the Adriatic coastal Motorway between Split and Dubrovnik, near the town Komarna. It is multi-span extradosed cable-stayed bridge with an orthotropic steel deck. The width of the three-cell superstructure is 22,5 meters. The pylon heights above the sea level differ from 75,4 to 100 meters.

The project delivery is expected in the second half of 2021.
