On Thursday, the I. stage of the massive foundation for the Kristal tower in Rogaška Slatina was concreted. In a construction pit, more than 7 m deep, approx. 480 m3 of concrete was poured. Stage I., with basic dimensions of 14x14x2 m, was contact-concreted into the foundation marl ground along its perimeter. The shape of the first segments of the tower can already be felt after the built-in connection reinforcement.The construction works are expected to be completed in March 2023, with official opening planned for July 2023. A 106-meter high observation tower with a two-storey viewing platform and an outdoor rooftop observatory will become the tallest building in Slovenia.
The tower was designed by Ponting Bridges and Korpnik produkcija, the contractor is VG5.
