Dr. Viktor Markelj joins the Individuum Podcast

We invite you to join us in watching and listening to the 24th episode of the Individuum Podcast, which hosted Dr. Viktor Markelj. The podcast hosts introduced the guest as one of the most well-known Slovenian bridge engineers; with many years of experience in bridge design and participating in some of the largest infrastructure projects in Slovenia and abroad, the co-founder of Ponting Bridges shared valuable insights into the world of construction.

The Individuum Podcast is a project of two students from Maribor’s Faculty of Civil Engineering, Lan Kokol and Patrik Majhen, who joined forces with the desire to explore unique stories. The podcast focuses on presenting exceptional individuals who achieve significant breakthroughs in their fields, push boundaries and contribute to the community.

Dr. Viktor Markelj (1958) is a Partner, Managing Director and a Senior Bridge designer of Ponting Bridges. His notable bridges include the Ada Bridge in Belgrade (2012), Puh Bridge in Ptuj (2007, pictured), Pedestrian drawbridge in Gdansk (2017), Bridge over Mura River (2003) and viaducts Lešnica (2007, 2010). A winner of many awards for his engineering expertise and a lecturer that passes the knowledge to future generations at University of Maribor.
