The construction of a new bridge over the Savinja River in Laško began in mid-July. The new bridge is to be 125 m long, spaning the river with two spans of 75 m and 48 m. Within the project, Ponting also designed a larger anchored retaining wall, ensuring the stability of an extensive cut along the reconstructed main regional road behind the bridge.
