The construction of a new footbridge over the Krka River in Novo mesto is completed. The load test took place on Saturday, 4th March. The bridge is situated in a place with a picturesque view of the Breg and the Kapiteljska church, where the silhouette of the Novo mesto is the most representative.An interesting transparent fence with a handle, which will also have an informative character, has also been installed on the over 120 m long steel bridge. Images of all the fish that live in the Krka River are imprinted on the handle.
The structural and architectural bridge concept and complete design was prepared by Pipenbaher Consulting Engineers, Ponting Bridges and Atelierarhitekti offices.
